The MDL52 Full Frame TP twisted pair block offers a better structural component to secure twisted ACSR conductors, such as T2 (twin bundle) wire.

 

These blocks are engineered with a steeper V-shaped groove or profile, which serves a critical function:

  • It prevents the wires from rolling up or crawling out of the block under tension or vibration.
  • This design ensures stable conductor alignment, especially in high-tension environments like transmission lines.
  • It also helps mitigate conductor motion due to wind-induced vibration (e.g., galloping or aeolian vibration), which is especially important for bundled conductors like T2.
