This emergency/universal wire cutter is designed to facilitate cutting hot wires in emergency conditions. This unit has an extended nose that allows the user to easily capture the conductor when using the cutter on long telescoping sticks. The longer lever arm reduces pulling requirement on the rope. Comes with shear type cutter blade ensures a clean cut without distorting the wire strands.
